How can I register for the conference?

Can I attend the general sessions or workshops for just an evening or a day?

Yes but you must register by phone with Kerri at 406-294-6820

When I register for the conference, does that register me for Advanced Training Pre-Conference?

Pre-Conference uses a separate registration form. You must register for the specific class online or call 406-294-6823 to speak to Bethany Amman, Training Coordinator. You can register for Reconciling Church Conflict, Reconciling Marital Conflict, and Certification Training.

 Do you offer any scholarships or have discounts available?

Unfortunately we do not offer any scholarships. We offer discounts for registered team members. Just enter the discount code on page 92 of the Peacemaking Team Manual. We also offer discounts on the workshops if you register for an Pre-Conference Advanced Training (please see your Pre-Conference confirmation email for the discount code). Finally, we offer special group rates for groups of 5 or more. Please contact Kerri Goss at 406-294-6820 for more information.

Accommodations/Hotel Information

Where can I find hotel information and directions to the conference?

The conference is held at the Renaissance Denver conveniently located on I-70 between the Denver International Airport and Downtown Denver. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle for those flying into Denver International Airport. You can also check out the hotel information page for more details.

How do I receive the group rate at the Renaissance Denver?

Reservations for the Renaissance Denver under the group can be done online. Click here to register on the group website. You can also call the registration desk at 1-800-468-3571. Please mention that you are reserving a room under the Peacemaker Conference block. These rates are effective until August 22, 2012.

If I’m driving in to attend the conference, do I have to pay any parking fees?

No. Parking is complimentary at the Renaissance Denver.

My confirmation email from the Renaissance says I have to pay parking charges. I thought I got complimentary parking.

The confirmation email you receive is a generic email from Marriott. As long as you are registered under our group rate you will not have to pay for parking. They will verify this with you when you check in to the hotel.

How can I get from the airport to the hotel?

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle.

Can I check-in to the conference early and get my conference materials then?

We’re sorry but early check-in is not available.

Conference Details

Can I bring my baby or child to the conference?

Sorry, no childcare is provided at the conference.

Can I reserve seats?

This is a general seating event, so reserved seating is not available and unnecessary.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably but keep in mind that some rooms may be cool so we advise you to bring a sweater or light jacket.

When will the Bookstore be open?

The Bookstore will be open from 8:00am to 6:30pm. Please be advised that we will not be selling products during the main conference sessions.

Will meals or snacks be provided at the conference?

Water stations as well as snacks will be provided during morning and afternoon breaks at the meeting facilities located on the Banquet Level of the hotel. The Celebration banquet on Saturday night is included in your registration price. All other meals are the attendee’s responsibility and are not provided for by Peacemaker Ministries. The hotel is located within walking distance of Quebec Square. Please see the hotel information page for more information.

What workshops are available?

There are 8 different time slots available for workshops – 4 on Friday and 4 on Saturday. Watch the workshop page for more information on the specific workshops available.

How can I spread the word about the 2012 Peacemaker Conference?

Thanks for asking. There are several ways to spread the word:

  • Send this conference link to friends, family, and pastors who might be interested in attending.

Unfortunately I am unable to attend the 2012 conference. What are your future conference dates so that I can schedule around them?

We are sorry that you are unable to attend. We do look forward to seeing you at future conferences. We do not have dates or location for 2013 at this time. Please check back with us.
